Job Details Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Medical-Surgical Telemetry / Med-Surg Tele Setting: Acute care hospital, medical-surgical telemetry unit Location: Gallatin, TN 37066 Start Date: 9/6/2026 Contract Duration: 12 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12-hour nights Weekend/Call: Every other weekend or as needed; call as needed Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890 Orientation: Weekly on Mondays Job Requirements Active RN license eligible for practice in Tennessee At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications Strong IV insertion and clinical assessment skills Ability to provide professional, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment Willingness to float to similar medical-surgical units as needed Travel-ready candidate with all required compliance items completed before start date Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical telemetry patients Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Perform IV insertion and administer medications per protocol Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes Use clinical judgment to prioritize care in a busy acute care hospital setting Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) Adapt to unit needs, including floating to comparable med/surg telemetry areas when requested Why Choose This Tennessee Travel Nursing Opportunity?
