We are seeking an experienced, high-performing Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in our Austin, TX location. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the financial planning and analysis activities for the US EP LAA (Left Atrial Appendage Closure) business, with responsibilities spanning revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and key balance sheet accounts. Reporting to the US EP Senior FP&A Manager, this position will partner closely with commercial leadership to drive profitable growth, support the delivery of financial commitments, and provide actionable insights to inform strategic and operational decision-making. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively across finance and commercial teams.**What You’ll Work On*** Lead financial planning activities for the EP LAA (Left Atrial Appendage Closure) business, partnering closely with commercial teams to develop sales revenue, product units, gross margin, as well as OMC and SG&A expenses. Planning responsibilities include the LBE and confirm submissions, as well as current month predictors, and other forecasting processes.* Manage month-end close activities for the LAA business, including journal entries, actual variance analysis and management commentary.* Develop and maintain the LAA rebate model for better visibility and forecast of LAA rebate expenses.* Manage LAA balance sheet items, including A/R and OAL (Other Assets & Liabilities) items forecast and actual variance analysis* Build and maintain financial models to support new product launch, including account onboarding, sales volume ramp, pricing dynamics, etc.* Prepare and distribute daily sales reports and weekly business decks to provide commercial leadership with insights into business performance. Deliver additional information and analytics as needed.* Conduct ad hoc financial and business analyses to support management decisions.**Required Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.* 4+ years of full-time experience in FP&A (Financial Planning and analysis).* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and proactively drive work to completion with minimal supervision.* Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accuracy, and consistently deliver high-quality work.* Excellent skills in computer applications (MS Excel and PowerPoint).* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in matrix-oriented organization.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Experience in Hyperion Essbase.**Preferred Qualifications*** Experience in Sales revenue planning and financial modeling.* Experience with SAP, Business Objects, and PowerBI tools.**APPLY NOW**Learn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives: your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
