This role must complete all repairs within the time frame of the job and within industry standards./ppBenefits:/pulliBonus based on performance/liliCompany car/liliCompetitive salary/liliFree uniforms/liliHealth insurance/liliOpportunity for advancement/liliPaid time off/li/ulpResponsibilities:/pulliReports to Reconstruction Project Manager/liliWork safely in residential and commercial properties that have been damaged by fire, water, storm, and/or mold/liliComplete assigned repair jobs for residential and commercial properties using a punch list/liliComplete work orders as given by reconstruction department/liliCommunicate job progress with Estimators, Project Directors, Production Manager and/or Coordinators/liliDemolition of structural damage to properties through the use of hand and power tools/liliComplete measurements and calculate size and amount of material needed on assigned jobs/liliInspect damaged framework/liliConstruct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes/liliComplete drywall projects/liliComplete painting projects/liliComplete flooring projects such as tile, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, etc./liliComplete trim projects (baseboard, casing, crown, etc)/liliComplete light plumbing and electrical projects/liliInstall kitchen and bath cabinets/liliComplete kitchen and bath remodels/liliClean up assigned job sites; may be doing a days worth of work on different job sites/liliMay be traveling to more than one job site per day/liliKeep equipment clean and organized in the shop and in the vehicle/liliResponsible for unloading trash and materials in assigned areas/liliCheck work throughout the project to ensure it is up to code and specifications/liliComplete assigned jobs within budget and on time/liliComplete jobs with mitigation department as requested/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulpCompetency Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:/pulliKnowledge of carpentry skills/liliKnowledge of finish carpentry, framing, structural work, drywall, and trim carpentry/liliKnowledge of technology (iPhone, iPad)/liliCustomer Service Skills/liliCommunication skills via phone and face to face/liliAbility to look professional/liliAbility to learn and operate our primary operating systems: RMS (Restoration Management Software)/liliAbility to work safely with hand and power tools/liliAbility to answer and communicate with customers over the phone and face to face/liliAbility to work independently/liliAbility to work in a team of Technicians/liliAbility to maintain an acceptable Background Check and Motor Vehicle Record Check/liliAbility to represent the company culture through our Truth, Values, Vision, Mission, and 10 Serving Basics/li/ulpRequired Education, Experience, Qualifications:/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED required/liliValid drivers license with a clean record/liliDesire to join a world-class team and contribute a positive attitude/liliDedication to customer service/liliFluent in English/liliExperience with hanging, patching, finishing, texturing drywall, and painting is a must/lili5 plus years experience in the construction/repair industry as a Tradesman/Carpenter/li/ulpPreferred Education and Experience:/pulli7 plus years experience in finish carpentry work/li/ulpPhysical Requirement:/pulliOccasionally ascends and descends a ladder to complete jobs/liliMust be able to observe and perceive information on a computer and documents/liliMust be able to communicate and converse with customers and internal employees over the phone and face to face/liliFrequently will lift up to 75lbs. or more/liliAbility to safely operate a company vehicle/li/ulpMake an impact now: Paul Davis is proud of our 58-year heritage serving people in their time of need when facing disaster and having their worst day.
