Customer Service Representative

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Handle a large volume of emails, phone calls and sales order processing

* Act as liaison between customers and internal/external associates via email, phone call, and web portal

* Processing orders for material or merchandise received from customers

* General office duties such as filing, ordering office supplies, sort and deliver mail, et.al.

* Data entry of order info in computer, check inventory levels, generating shipping papers, and check customer credit

* Constant communication with customers regarding their order status.

* Being the point of contact for external & internal departments such as customers, suppliers, warehouse, shipping & freight carriers.

* Check orders for accuracy. Gather & attaches required additional documentation.

* Prepare & process invoices, issue credit memos, and assist Credit Dept. by checking customer payment status.

* Processes vendor invoices, freight bills, product returns, freight claims, and corrected billings.

* Maintains signature file of additional forms for customer order release.

* Schedule production of product as necessary.

* Coordinates shipments to other branch facilities and customers.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

* High School Diploma or General Education Degree

* 1-3 years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
