Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Mt. Clemens, MI and Waterford, MI

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Job Description: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic imaging or treatment. This role involves operating specialized equipment to create images that show how organs and tissues are functioning. Key responsibilities include explaining procedures to patients, ensuring radiation safety for both patients and self, maintaining equipment, and documenting processes. The technologist collaborates with physicians to diagnose conditions, providing crucial data for patient care and research.

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging or treatment.
• Operate specialized imaging equipment.
• Explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment.
• Document all processes and patient interactions accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians in diagnosing medical conditions.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) - Required
• Experience in Cardiology - Required
• BLS certification - Preferred
