Job Summary

Join Impact Canvassing as a Door-to-Door Canvasser and become a vital part of our community engagement and outreach! In this role, you will actively connect with residents face-to-face and gather valuable support through direct interaction.  Must be able to pass a FULL background check.

Duties

• Engage residents through friendly, face-to-face conversations to promote our organization’s initiatives and goals
• Conduct door-to-door canvassing in assigned neighborhoods, ensuring respectful and professional interactions
• Utilize mobile devices to record data, track interactions, and report progress in real-time
• Identify potential supporters and encourage their involvement in the election
• Maintain a positive attitude while walking extensively outdoors
• Support community outreach efforts by coordinating with team members to maximize coverage and impact
  

Qualifications

• Previous field sales or canvassing experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a proactive attitude are essential
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect naturally face-to-face with diverse audiences
• Ability to pass a full background check
• Ability to walk for extended periods outdoors comfortably and safely in different weather conditions
• Familiarity with mobile devices for data entry and reporting purposes
• Supervising experience or leadership skills are advantageous for team coordination roles

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (Based on Performance. A canvasser is expected to knock 25-30 doors per hour, with the pay rate being $1 per door knocked.)
