Vice President - Infrastructure Private Equity

The Opportunity

We are hiring a Vice President for the firm's private equity investment team in New York. You will be a senior member of the team, leading investment processes, developing theses and working closely with leadership on new investments and portfolio company initiatives. The role carries a high degree of autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Lead new investments from initial screening through closing
• Develop investment theses covering market dynamics, competitive positioning, management teams and value creation
• Own financial underwriting, including operating models, LBO analysis and valuation
• Prepare and present investment committee materials
• Build relationships with management teams, banks and advisors, and contribute to sourcing
• Support portfolio companies on strategic, financial and operational initiatives
• Mentor Associates and Senior Associates

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience, including 2+ years in private equity, with a strong investment banking foundation
• Demonstrated experience executing PE transactions and leading significant deal workstreams
• Exceptional modeling, valuation and underwriting skills
• Strong investment judgment and the ability to develop and defend a clear thesis
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with senior management and advisors
• Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with autonomy and accountability
• Interest in building a long-term career with a growing PE platform
