What You'll Do
Deliver Exceptional Nursing Education
- Teach assigned nursing courses across classroom, clinical, laboratory, and simulation settings.
- Create engaging, student-centered learning experiences using innovative teaching strategies, technology, and evidence-based practices.
- Implement course curriculum and contribute feedback to support continuous course improvement.
- Bridge theory and practice to prepare students for safe, ethical, and professional nursing practice.
Support Student Success
- Build meaningful relationships with students and foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Identify learning needs and develop remediation strategies that help students achieve academic success.
- Serve as a mentor and professional role model throughout the student journey.
Lead Clinical Excellence
- Facilitate clinical, laboratory, and simulation learning experiences.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty to ensure students develop the knowledge, critical thinking, and clinical competencies needed for practice readiness.
- Promote patient safety, evidence-based care, and professional standards in all learning environments.
Contribute to the Academic Community
- Participate in university committees, program evaluation activities, accreditation efforts, commencement ceremonies, and other professional service initiatives.
- Support the onboarding, development, and mentoring of new faculty members.
- Collaborate with colleagues and academic leaders to strengthen program outcomes and student experiences.
Advance Scholarship & Professional Growth
- Engage in scholarly and professional activities that advance nursing education and practice.

Qualifications
Education
- Master's Degree in Nursing required
Nursing & Clinical Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of professional nursing experience related to the teaching discipline required
- Demonstrated clinical nursing expertise and experience in the specialty area(s) being taught
- Experientially prepared to teach assigned nursing courses
- Maintain current regulatory and clinical practice credentials, when appropriate, based on assignment
- Maintain appropriate, active, unencumbered nursing licensure or certification as required to practice and teach within the discipline required
- Ability to integrate clinical expertise, evidence-based practice, and real-world healthcare experiences into the learning environment

Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $77,000 and $97,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
