Psychiatrist Adult General

Overview Inpatient Adult/General Psychiatrist. 1099 Independent Contractor fee-for-service only. Patient caseload 15-20 per day total (3-5 admissions). Initial psych evaluations, follow ups, discharges, treatment team planning, etc. Monday-Friday day shift, weekend coverage optional, evening weekday phone call for own patients. Primarily adult inpatient caseload. Optional NP supervision + stipend if interested. No H1B or J-1 visas. Must be opted into Medicare and able to see Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, and private payors. Responsibilities Perform initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up assessments for adult inpatient patients. Manage discharges and participate in treatment team planning. Maintain a caseload of 15-20 patients per day (including 3-5 admissions). Provide weekday day-shift coverage; optional weekend coverage. Respond to evening calls for own patients as needed. Optionally supervise Nurse Practitioners with a stipend if interested. Qualifications Board-eligible or board-certified adult psychiatry. Must be opted into Medicare and able to see Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, and private payors. No H1B or J-1 visa sponsorship required.
