We've delivered mechanical systems for landmark projects including The Wharf (Phases 1 & 2), CFG Bank Arena, University of Maryland's new residence halls, The Anthem, and Catholic University.About This RoleThe Site Safety Coordinator will:Assist team members to recognize and avoid OSHA safety violationsProvide onsite training on OSHA rules and regulationsAssist project foreman in developing pre-task planning procedures for a consistent safe work environmentPerform daily job site inspections to prevent injuries or workplace violationsManage and report and injuries or incidents as they occurOur target candidate is: Determined to ensure all team members go home safely each dayA communicator ready to share and teach how things are doneReady to train others on OSHA rules, safety best practices, etc.Eager to walk their project looking for opportunities to improveReady to work at a DC Metro Area job siteRequired Qualifications and Experience:3-5 years of experience in the construction field30 Hour OSHA CertifiedCPR/First Aid CertifiedPreferred:1-2 years of experience in a safety coordinator positionPast experienced focused on large-scale commercial constructionPay/Benefits $26-34/hour, plus performance-based bonuses2 weeks paid vacation + paid holidaysMedical, dental, and vision insurance (starts after 90 days)401(k) with company matchReal advancement opportunities - we promote from within into senior estimating and leadership rolesOn-site gym/fitness center, wellness programs, and company social events
