The PR & Content Manager is responsible for the strategic planning and management of public relations and content marketing activities for Origence and its brands. This individual ensures that all PR and communication activities support corporate and thought leader initiatives and are in alignment with the annual marketing plan. How You'll Contribute Public Relations/Media Management Develop a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media Plan and execute public relations initiatives that builds and nurtures a favorable public image for Origence within multiple vertical markets Build, manage, and maintain media relationships to represent Origence and gain positive media exposure Create press releases and other media-related correspondence Maintain PR/News pages on corporate and brand websites Identify and train appropriate staff for media interviews Monitor and report performance data for all PR activities Manage annual public relations budget in alignment with marketing budget Provide regularly scheduled reporting and monthly presentations to management Content Creation Management Work closely with marketing team to develop a content strategy that aligns with marketing goals and drives high engagement. Plan and execute content initiatives including blog articles, case studies, white papers, editorials, and other forms of owned media that positions Origence as a thought-leader in multiple vertical markets. Develop and manage a content calendar to ensure regular content throughout the year. Keep up to date with industry best practice and monitor content activities of competitor websites. Track web analytics to ascertain engagement levels and evaluate the impact of content to continuously improve engagement strategy. Manage and nurture outsource content writers to create impactful and accurate content across multiple channels Blog & Social Media Support Work with digital marketing writer to monitor social media and online conversations, and respond with appropriate messaging. Repurpose content for social media and blog. Work closely with marketing team to develop blog strategy that aligns with digital marketing goals (SEO, SEM) What Makes You a Great Fit Education B.A degree in Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Media, or Communications Experience Five + years public relations experience Three to four years experience writing digital content for a large agency or Your Strengths & Expertise In-depth knowledge of public relations and corporate communications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to lead creation of regular publications Ability to develop strong relationships with media and gain media attention through those relationships Self-motivated, detail oriented, and meet deadlines with strong project management skills Ability to develop written content across multiple mediums Successful media-pitching skills Excellent copyediting, proofreading, and grammar skills Adept at keyword placement and SEO best practices A familiarity with HubSpot, WordPress, Google Analytics, and Hootsuite digital platforms Strong team player with ability to manage resources without direct reporting relationship Bring your ideas, your curiosity, and your unique perspective. We offer competitive compensation designed to recognize the value, experience, and contributions each team member brings to Origence. Base pay is determined by factors including experience, geographic location, and internal equity, and eligible positions may participate in our annual bonus program.
