About the Role:

Careage HomeCare is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Companion Caregiver to join our team in Temple, TX! Responsibilities:

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes

Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands

Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or well-being to supervisors

Accompany clients to appointments, social outings, and community activities

Engage clients in meaningful conversation, hobbies, and recreational activities

Maintain accurate care logs and documentation of daily activities

Ensure a safe and comfortable home environment for all clients

Requirements:

Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or a related field preferred

Genuine compassion, patience, and a caring demeanor toward elderly or disabled individuals

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

CPR/First Aid certification is a plus

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
