Your future role at a glance Location: Appleton, WI Facility: Ascension St. Elizabeth Department/Specialty: Sleep Diagnostic Lab Schedule: Part-time 0.6 FTE nights | two 12-hour shifts per week 7PM - 7AM | no holidays How you'll make an impact in this role Lead diagnostic sleep studies to accurately assess and identify patient sleep disorders, utilizing expertise in basic and advanced protocols. Educate and prepare patients for testing, conducting thorough interviews to ensure their comfort, understanding, and willingness to participate in the procedure. Monitor patients continuously throughout the study, proactivelyintervening to address clinical needs, quickly resolve equipment issues, and ensure data integrity. Analyze and score sleep study data with precision, delivering comprehensive reports that guide patient diagnosis and inform treatment planning. Maintain and calibrate all diagnostic equipment, proactively identifying and reporting needs for repair or replacement to ensure the sleep lab operates with peak readiness. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Cert Polysomnographic Tech credentialed from the Board of Registered Polysomnograhic Technologists (BRPT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Reg Polysomnographic Tchnlgst credentialed from the Board of Registered PolysomnograhicTechnologists (BRPT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Registered Sleep Technologist from the American Board of Sleep Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
