Ultrasound Technologist

This position involves a flexible schedule, with 40-hour shift work and on-call requirements as necessary.

The Ultrasound Technologist will perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures for both normal and pathological conditions. The role requires proficient skills in abdomen, GYN, OB, neonatal, superficial structures, and vascular imaging, ensuring high-quality patient care and clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct ultrasound examinations of the abdomen, pelvis, and vascular systems.
• Perform transvaginal ultrasounds, amniocentesis, and manage complications associated with obstetric procedures.
• Examine neonatal patients for congenital anomalies and assess superficial structures.
• Utilize specialized ultrasound equipment, including Canon i700, and manage records using Meditech EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS.
• Execute intraoperative procedures, including aspirations, biopsies, and drainages.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working in an acute hospital setting.
• Current ARDMS certifications in Abdomen, Obstetrics, and RVT required.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA.
