How you'll contribute Performs sonographic examinations and procedures as requested by the referring physician. Provides age-appropriate care to patients across the lifespan. Maintains supplies and ensures a clean, orderly work area; notifies supervisor of needed items. Maintains and calibrates equipment to ensure accuracy and longevity. Acts as a consultant and educational resource for physicians and staff regarding appropriateness and accuracy of scans. Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. What we're looking for The requirements listed below are below representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required: Education: Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or School of Radiology required. Experience: One year of diagnostic medical sonography experience preferred. License/Certifications: Graduate of an accredited DMS program or ARRT/DMS certification; BLS required within 30 days of hire.
