MRI Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Schedule would consist of variable day shifts, including the possibility of working every Saturday. Time: 7 A.M. - 8 P.M. Total 37.5 hours per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to demonstrate proficiency in performing MRI imaging exams for patients of all ages while adhering to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment and prepare patients for procedures.
• Ensure quality imaging is obtained to facilitate accurate diagnosis.
• Assist in the management of patients and present images to the physician for diagnosis.
• Perform intravenous therapy, including contrast selection and injection.
• Prepare and enter necessary documentation as required by the department, such as informed consent.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program.
• ARRT/NYSDOH License required.
• BLS certification required.
• Certified to perform contract injections.
• Specialized training in MRI Technology and cross-sectional anatomy.
