About the RoleCollins Aerospace is hiring a detail-focused Shipping & Receiving Clerk for our Phoenix, AZ facility. This 12-month contract role offers the chance to work in a dynamic aerospace environment, providing essential support for day-to-day warehouse, inventory, and logistics operations. You'll gain valuable experience with SAP and inventory management, contributing to the efficiency and accuracy that drive our success. Responsibilities - Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials to ensure accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and completing shipping documents
- Perform precise inventory transactions, track materials, and maintain records using SAP and Microsoft Office
- Collaborate with warehouse teams and internal stakeholders to coordinate timely shipments and deliveries
- Identify and report discrepancies in shipment quantities, damaged materials, or inventory records
- Support inventory counts, stock reconciliation, and physical inventory audits
- Organize shipping and receiving areas to uphold safety and efficiency standards
- Follow established procedures for material handling, safety, and quality assurance Required Skills and Experience - 1-3 years hands-on shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse or logistics setting
- Proficient in SAP for inventory transactions, shipping, receiving, and material tracking
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Office applications for accurate data entry and reporting
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- High School Diploma or GED required Preferred Skills - Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or industrial warehouse environments
- Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced inventory management
- Experience with barcode scanners, shipping labels, and warehouse tracking technology
- Knowledge of FedEx, UPS, or freight shipping processes
