With growing opportunities in the region and a variety of clients, the ideal candidate will join our high achieving, fast-paced team. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team are valued attributes for this position. The project work will be multi-disciplinary in nature, but experience in traditional industrial/commercial land development, renewables, utility infrastructure, and/or mining is especially relevant.This is a hybrid office role and can be based in:Raleigh, NCCharlotte, NCKey responsibilities include:Ability to target and generate new opportunitiesManaging project execution including proposal development, project organization, subcontractor management, scheduling, financial management, health and safety stewardship, and delivery qualityOverseeing pursuits, designate the appropriate resources to projects, define client needs, address client concerns and suggest solutions to solve project challengesLeading technical, cost, and scheduling decisions for interdisciplinary teams and driving customer valueNurturing and growing client relationshipsSupporting the achievement of professional staffs' career goalsEducation/Certification:Required, Bachelor of Science Degree in EngineeringRequired, Professional Engineer (PE)Skills & Experience:Experience in leading multi-disciplinary design, permitting and construction as a consultantAbility to actively develop and maintain client relationshipsCapability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organizationUnderstanding of financial management of projects10+ years of related experienceFollowing an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.Move Forward with Kleinfelder: Kleinfelder and its subsidiaries and affiliates, has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961.
