Respiratory Therapist II

Respiratory Therapy consists of state‑licensed, professionally trained respiratory care practitioners and therapists. Our team assesses the needs of patients and provides therapies to help speed the healing and recovery to return to the highest possible level of cardiopulmonary health as quickly as possible. Schedule: Full‑time (36 hours per week) What You’ll Do Responsible for evaluation and treatment of patients with cardiac or pulmonary disorders. Obtains, analyzes, and correlates patient clinical data and makes recommendations and/or implements care plan. Manages complex patient/ventilator systems within protocol guidelines. Anticipates crises and complications and performs or recommends appropriate interventions. Works independently within departmental guidelines. Requirements Currently registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Licensed as an RCP in Missouri. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred. PALS Provider preferred. ECMO experience (S.T.A.B.L.E. Learner). AHA ACLS within 180 days. AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.
