All candidates must complete an on-line application to be considered.**JOB SUMMARY:*** Provide accounting and analytical support to the Accounting/Finance department.* Prepare monthly general journal entries, schedules and provided analysis in support of quarterly reviews and annual audits..**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Prepare monthly general journal entries and provide accounting and analytical support to Management during the month end close process.* Prepare intercompany, consolidating and elimination entries.* Prepare schedules and analysis in support of quarterly reviews and annual audits.* Apply accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information for preparation of financial reports for month end.* Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accounting policies and procedures.* Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.* Prepare bank reconciliations and other account reconciliations, including prepaid and accruals, for general accounting.* Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close.* Ensure accurate, timely, and appropriate recording of financial information.* Support management with special projects such as the implementation of departmental policies, procedures and controls.* Perform other job related functions as assigned..**KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:** **EDUCATION:*** Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field of study or any equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience**EXPERIENCE:*** 2 years experience in accounting; combined experience in public accounting and the private sector a plus.* Hospitality experience preferred..**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:*** Must have strong analytical skills, good verbal and written communication skills* Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Outlook* High level of proficiency in Excel - knowledge of complex formulas and PowerPivot will be a plus* Experience with PeopleSoft software or large company ERP systems a plusorganizational skills are necessary due to the nature of compiling and retaining detailed information for audits* Ability to multitask and to work with large volumes of data* Multi-currency experience is a plus Ability to work extra hours during month end close and as needed**ABOUT NCLH** Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd.
