In this contract role, you’ll collaborate with dedicated educators and families to support students’ communication growth and foster their academic success. The school year runs from August 2026 through June 2027, providing a stable, fulfilling assignment.

Qualifications:

• Active SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Strong background in school-based speech-language therapy; previous school experience highly valued
• Ability to work independently across varied school settings
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with early childhood or special education populations preferred

Responsibilities:

• Serve students at both a special education preschool and an elementary school, splitting your time equally
• Complete assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and provide targeted therapy for speech, language, and communication needs
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and parents, to optimize student outcomes
• Monitor and document student progress throughout the school year
• Adapt therapy methods and materials to meet diverse student needs
