Facilities & Maintenance ManagerPhillips-Medisize, LLC is seeking a Maintenance and Facilities Manager with experience to support our medical manufacturing facilities in Menomonie, WI. This position will support manufacturing in the effort to coordinate maintenance support services that are aimed at increasing product and service quality through continuous improvement of equipment, tools, supplies processes and personnel. This position is also responsible for maintenance and improvements to multiple facilities on our campus.Shift: Monday- Friday – supporting a 24 hour facilityEssential Functions:Provide direction and leadership to Maintenance department including people management.Coordinate and direct maintenance staff across all shifts to maintain equipment capable of safe and robust processesFoster and develop a culture based on our Principled Based Management (PBM®) philosophyCoordinate training to develop necessary job skills for maintenance teamDevelop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance systems for equipment, building and grounds, and facility systems in compliance with ISO (Environmental and Quality Systems) and/or FDA requirementsDevelop and coordinate outside subcontractors to do work that is beyond the facilities capability or time constraintsAssist with procurement and installation of equipmentManage housekeeping staff for the facilityLead facility expansion effortsSafety leader for the maintenance team ensuring safe practices are being followed and proactively identifying and correcting safety concernsOther duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience or minimum five (5) years related experience in a manufacturing environmentMinimum four (4) years of experience leading leaders, with responsibility for overseeing supervisors, team performance, and operational execution.Travel Requirements:This position is responsible for the Menomonie WI campus with expected travel of 10% working with vendors or knowledge shares at other facilities.Skills and Abilities:Proven success partnering with cross-functional operations where EHS, Quality, and production responsibilities intersect, to drive compliance, risk reduction, and quality outcomes.Working knowledge of hydraulics, blueprints, schematics, pneumatics and roboticsKnowledge of electronics, PLC's and electrical test equipmentThorough understanding of manufacturing principlesStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to recognize personnel improvement needs and suggest appropriate trainingAbility to manage multiple large-scale projectsKnowledge of facility systems and infrastructureThis position does not qualify for VISA sponsorship
