Preferred Background and Experience

• Washington State SLP License required
• Experience in school-based pediatric speech-language pathology preferred
• Accepting applicants with SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA experience
• Proficiency working with children in PreK–12th grade
• Knowledge of both educational and healthcare SLP practices is a plus
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to students
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide necessary documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure student success
• Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Support a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Offer consultation and training to staff and families to promote best practices in communication support
