Job Summary:
An ICU Nurse position is available in Arlington Heights, Illinois. This role involves working in a 36-bed Intensive Care Unit with a focus on neuro, cardiac, and medical surgical intensive care. Candidates are required to bring their Illinois license on the first day of employment. The position requires a minimum of two years of strong ICU experience with EPIC charting.

Job Details:

• Location: Arlington Heights, Illinois
• Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Experience Requirements: 2+ years of strong ICU experience, proficiency in EPIC charting; must hold an Illinois license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certifications
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Illinois licensing, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, licensed in Illinois, 2+ years of ICU experience, EPIC charting proficiency
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
• Float: As Needed
• Additional Information: Orientation occurs on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Credentials must be submitted by Thursday prior to the start date. Orientation hours are 16 hours, with pay for these hours.
• Submission Requirements: Updated resume, Skills Checklist completed within the past 12 months, one reference completed within the past 12 months, Illinois license verification.
