Service Porter

Job Type

Full-time

Description

Bellevue, WA | Volvo | European luxury brand | Porter | Lot | Entry level | Guest services | Eastside Seattle | Pacific Northwest | Veterans encouraged to apply | $20 - $24/hr

IS THIS YOU?

• You're reliable, self-directed, and take pride in keeping things running smoothly - the vehicles you move are handled with care, the lot stays organized, and the service team can count on you without having to check

• You're looking for a stable, active role at a well-run Eastside luxury store where your dependability and attention to detail are recognized and the work has a clear, purposeful structure every day

WHO WE ARE

Swickard Auto Group is a hospitality company that happens to sell and service cars. We believe the best guest experiences start with the best employee experiences. That's why we've grown to 40+ rooftops across the West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii while maintaining a culture built on one simple idea: do right by people, every time.

Volvo Cars Bellevue serves a loyal, tech-forward Eastside ownership community where the standard for vehicle care and presentation is high and consistently applied. The Service Porter is a foundational part of that standard - moving vehicles carefully, keeping the lot and service lanes organized, and ensuring every Volvo that passes through the service department is handled with the care its owner expects. At a luxury store, the porter who does this role well is genuinely visible to the team and to the guest experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Move guest vehicles safely between the service drive, service bays, lot, and delivery areas throughout the shift

• Stage vehicles for service write-up and for guest pickup - ensuring every vehicle is positioned correctly, locked, and guest-ready

• Perform basic vehicle washes and light detailing as directed to ensure vehicles are returned to guests clean and presentable

• Keep service lanes, the lot, and vehicle staging areas organized and clear throughout the day

• Assist service advisors and technicians with vehicle movement and logistical support as needed

• Communicate any vehicle condition concerns - new damage, warning lights, or other observations - immediately to the appropriate team member

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - required

• Comfortable driving a wide range of vehicles, including EVs and PHEVs - Volvo's electrified lineup is a growing part of the fleet moving through this service department

• Reliable and punctual - the service team's workflow depends on consistent porter coverage throughout the day

• Detail-oriented and careful with vehicles that don't belong to you - luxury guests notice the condition of their vehicle and the porter who handles it with genuine care reflects that standard

• Prior porter, valet, lot attendant, or driving experience a plus - not required

WHAT WE OFFER

• $20 - $24/hr

• Medical, dental, and vision insurance

• Life insurance and supplemental coverage options

• Paid time off and paid holidays

• A genuine entry point into the automotive industry - porters who perform at Swickard grow into service support, advisor assistant, and coordinator roles

• Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts

WHY VOLVO CARS BELLEVUE

• Bellevue's Eastside tech community sets a high bar for vehicle care and presentation - the porter who handles Volvo owner vehicles with consistent care and attention is performing a role that directly supports the guest experience the store is known for

• Volvo's growing electrified lineup means regular exposure to EV and PHEV vehicles - useful experience for anyone building a career in automotive service

• Swickard is one of the fastest-growing dealer groups in the country - ranked Top 5 in North America for reputation in the automotive industry

• Our HEART values - Honor, Engage, Anticipate, Respond, Thank - apply to how every vehicle is handled just as much as every guest interaction

If you're a reliable, careful driver who takes pride in keeping a well-run service operation moving smoothly and wants to build a career in the automotive industry at a Bellevue Volvo store where the standard is high and your dependability is recognized - apply.
