Clinical Genetic Testing Workflow Assistant Assist with the management of clinical genetic testing workflow. Triage inquiries; obtain insurance pre-authorizations for specialized laboratory testing; coordinate and schedule follow-up appointments. Prepare for visits by collecting and reviewing relevant medical records and lab reports, as well as participant family histories, and ensuring that these records are provided to the team in advance. Prepare patient test requisitions for genetic testing and maintains communication with labs. Coordinate test-ordering and send-out of testing samples to laboratories. Track and organize test results and assist with notifying patients/providers of negative test results as needed. Coordinate send-out of completed clinic summaries and result reports to families/providers. Act as a liaison to facilitate communication with and execute various requests from internal and external providers. Perform other duties as assigned (e.g. maintain clinical database). Aya Healthcare
