WORK EXPERIENCE More than 02 to 03 years of relevant experience PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Training in relevant field JOB SUMMARY: Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepares, administers, and measures radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating a variety of clinical conditions in patients. Administers radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnosis and therapy, using radioisotope equipment, under direction of a physician Explains test procedures and safety precautions to patients and provide then with assistance during test procedures Explains test procedures and safety precautions to patients and provide then with assistance during test procedures Disposes of radioactive materials and store radiopharmaceuticals, following radiation safety procedures Follows infection control protocols at all times to reduce risk of hospital-acquired infections Monitors utilization of medications and consumable items and ensures accurate billing, as per hospital policy Maintains and updates all relevant patient documentations/ medical records as per hospital’s policy and procedures Ensures safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
