Cross Trained Agent

divh2Cross-trained Agent/h2pCross-trained agents must, after completion of training, be willing and able to work Ticket, Operations and Ramp Agent positions at their assigned station./ph3Primary Responsibilities:/h3p Check in passengers and baggage using Cape Airs passenger service system/pp Make passenger reservations and rebook flights/pp Make boarding announcements/pp Provide extra assistance to passengers with special needs/pp Assist the main Cape Air Reservations Department by handling remote reservations calls, if applicable to station/pp Share information with pilots/ramp/operations using radio communications/pp Organize ticket and cash reports/pp Handle delayed or missing baggage and process claims/pp Assure compliance with FAA and airport security procedures/pp Meet and marshal aircraft/pp Fueling Cape Air aircraft, if applicable to station operations/pp Load and unload passengers and their baggage/pp Escort passengers out to the aircraft/pp Additional duties as assigned/ph3Qualifications:/h3p Airline work experience preferred/pp Airline reservation system experience preferred/pp Must be at least 18 years old/pp Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent/pp If location requires any type of driving such as baggage delivery, fueling, etc., applicant must hold and maintain a drivers license valid in that location/pp Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs./pp Basic computer skills required/pp Excellent communication and excellent customer service skills required/pp Ability to interact effectively with others/pp Ability to work independently and adapt to changing work priorities/pp Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing/pp Flexibility of schedule is a must/pp This position will often require working nights, weekends and holidays/pp Must exhibit exceptional knowledge of Cape Air and must embody the Cape Air MOCHA HAGoTDI spirit/p/div
