Make a meaningful difference each day as a full-time paraprofessional supporting a high school student near De Pere, just outside of Green Bay. This contract opportunity begins September 1st, providing dedicated 1:1 care for a student who uses a motorized wheelchair and requires compassionate assistance with physical care, including toileting.

This role is perfect for a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or a professional with experience as a special education aide or paraprofessional, especially those who are eager to broaden their impact in a school environment. If you’re not already DPI certified, a willingness to obtain certification after receiving an offer is required.

Your background in public health, direct care, or supporting students with special needs will be invaluable as you build trust, foster independence, and create a positive, safe environment for your assigned student.

What you’ll need:

• Current CNA certification or experience as a special education aide or paraprofessional
• Prior work with individuals requiring physical care—experience with toileting highly preferred
• Ability to provide respectful, dignified support to a non-ambulatory student
• Commitment to starting September 1st and fulfilling the school year contract
• Readiness to pursue DPI certification upon hire
• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills

• Deliver 1:1 assistance throughout the school day
• Aid with transfers, positioning, and toileting for a student using a motorized wheelchair
