Junior Industrial Maintenance Tech - Humble, TX Job Summary:
The Junior Maintenance Technician supports the operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of solar energy systems and related equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assist with routine inspections of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on solar panels, inverters, combiner boxes, and monitoring equipment.
- Help troubleshoot and diagnose basic electrical and mechanical issues.
- Clean and maintain solar panels to ensure optimal system performance.
- Monitor system performance and report abnormalities to supervisors.
- Assist in repairing or replacing defective components and equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and inspection documentation.
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and electrical safety protocols.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition.
