Position Overview:

We are seeking a full-time Orthodontic & Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our growing practice in Brookfield. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both orthodontics and pediatric dentistry and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient experiences.

As a clinical team member, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate is outgoing, dependable, eager to learn, and committed to helping create a positive experience for every patient and family who walks through our doors.

Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who demonstrates a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a genuine passion for helping others.

What You'll Do:

• Welcome patients and families, helping them feel comfortable and valued throughout their visit. 
• Assist orthodontists and pediatric dentists during a variety of clinical procedures. 
• Review and update patient health histories at each visit and accurately document any changes. 
• Take and process digital radiographs, photographs, and iTero scans. 
• Maintain accurate patient records, chart notes, treatment plans, and clinical documentation. 
• Prepare treatment rooms before procedures and ensure proper cleanup afterward. 
• Anticipate doctor needs and provide efficient chairside assistance. 
• Follow all OSHA and HIPAA guidelines. 
• Sterilize instruments and maintain clinical equipment. 
• Monitor and restock supplies throughout the office. 
• Work collaboratively with doctors and team members to ensure smooth patient flow. 
• Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude. 

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 
• Positive attitude and commitment to patient care. 

Preferred:

• Minimum 1 year of orthodontic, pediatric, or general dental assisting experience. 
• Experience with Dentrix Ascend and/or Dolphin software. 
• Experience with digital radiography and iTero scanning.
