Associate Inventory Planner

The Associate Inventory Planner is a proactive, detail-oriented role that supports demand forecasting and product-level inventory optimization across multiple product classes. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate forecasts by product and maintaining ideal product availability.This is a Hybrid role working out of our LA Office 3 days a week (Tues-Thurs).What You’ll DoAnalyze sales data, forecast future demand, and ensure that the right inventory is available to support strategies to meet customer needsAssist in developing and maintaining demand planning models and processes to support accurate forecastingCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including buying, marketing, and production, to gather information and insights to inform demand planningMonitor inventory levels and make recommendations for efficient inventory managementIdentify and resolve discrepancies between forecasted and actual demandUtilize various forecasting tools and techniques to accurately predict demandMonitor and report on key performance indicators related to demand planningPartner with buying to stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to anticipate changes in demandCommunicate with the production team to ensure the timely delivery of productsParticipate in regular meetings and provide insights and recommendations to improve demand planning processesProactively identify and address potential supply chain issues and work towards solutionsAdhere to company policies and procedures and ensure compliance with industry regulationsContinuously seek opportunities to improve demand planning processes and contribute to overall company growth and successWhat You’ll NeedBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or other relevant field2+ years of retail apparel planning, demand planning, allocation, or analytics experienceExcellent communication, written, oral, and group facilitationStrong retail math skillsProfessional and positive attitudeExcellent organizational and time management skills, sense of urgency, highly detailed, and experience in meeting deadlinesMust be able to work independentlyProficient Excel skills, including formulas such as sumifs, vlookups, etc., and pivot tablesAbility to apply logical thinking and sound judgment to a wide range of practical problemsNice to Have - Bonus Points!Planning experience in fashion retail and/or e-commercePassion for women’s fashionWe’re ready to meet you!
