About Our Engineering Administrator We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Administrator to support our engineering team. Someone who is highly organized, has a keen eye for accuracy, and has stellar communication and prioritization skills. The Engineering Administrator will play a critical role in maintaining data and coordinating cross-functional workflows to ensure accurate and timely release of engineering information to both internal and external customers. Responsibilities Complete engineering related documentation including industry certifications, factory acceptance test plans, and inspection test reports with precision; keep track of deadlines and renewals Maintain digital and physical documentation organization, support engineering with administrative tasks Utilize ERP system to assist managing bills of materials (BOMs), routing instructions, released drawings, and engineering work order updates Communicate workflow schedule and updates to stakeholders within the organization These are some of the more frequent tasks you could expect to perform during your workday, but you may be called upon to fulfill other duties as needed. Key Skills Communication: Interact with peers, team leads, and managers in a kind, positive, and professional manner, because good communication is essential for a successful day; timely and consistent communication, both verbal and written, is critical for this role Teamwork: Work well with others with an attitude of cooperation and achievement, and commit to the success of the team as a whole Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with SolidWorks drafting software and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; ability to quickly adapt to new programs, including the Welker ERP system to handle the clerical aspects of the position Work Ethic: Excellent organizational and follow-through skills with a highly developed sense of urgency and prioritization; ability to handle multiple complex tasks within tight deadline parameters Attention to Detail: Make a conscious effort to focus on the details and ensure documents are complete, accurate, and thorough Qualifications Associate degree in an Engineering or Business related field, or equivalent experience Two or more years of experience with document control and revision management processes Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred Does this sound like you?
