Job Description

We’re looking for our first Full-Time Recruiter to help us build an exceptional team and create the people infrastructure needed for our next stage of growth.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys the full spectrum of people operations. One day you may be recruiting a critical new hire; the next you may be improving onboarding, helping a manager navigate a people issue, reviewing compensation, or planning fun activities!

\n

\n

You won’t be inheriting a large HR department or layers of process. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how we hire, onboard, develop, and support our team as the company grows.

\n

\n

What You’ll Own

\n

You’ll take ownership across recruiting, HR operations, and company culture, including:

\n

\n
• Managing recruiting from job launch through offer and close
\n
• Proactively sourcing strong candidates rather than relying solely on inbound applications
\n
• Conducting initial interviews and partnering with hiring managers throughout the process
\n
• Creating a high-quality onboarding experience for new employees
\n
• Managing core HR operations, including payroll, benefits, employee records, and offboarding
\n
• Supporting managers with employee relations and performance conversations
\n
• Helping leadership make thoughtful decisions around compensation, promotions, benefits, and people policies
\n
• Improving HR processes as the company grows without adding unnecessary bureaucracy
\n
• Developing initiatives, events, and traditions that strengthen company culture
\n
• Serving as a trusted, practical resource for employees and leadership
\n

What We’re Looking For

\n

We’re looking for a well-rounded HR operator rather than someone who has spent their career specializing in only one area of HR.

\n

You’ll likely have:

\n

\n
• Approximately 3+ years of experience across HR, People Operations, recruiting, or related functions
\n
• Experience owning multiple areas of the employee lifecycle
\n
• The ability and willingness to proactively recruit and source candidates
\n
• Working knowledge of payroll, benefits, onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations
\n
• Strong judgment when navigating sensitive employee and compensation conversations
\n
• Experience working directly with company leadership and managers
\n
• A practical approach to HR that balances the employee experience with the needs of the business
\n
• Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
\n
• Comfort operating in an environment where priorities can change quickly
\n

Experience in a startup, growing consumer business, e-commerce company, or similarly entrepreneurial environment is a strong plus.

\n

\n
