Our services include infrastructure improvement, heavy civil construction, and site development for government and state agencies and private enterprise across the United States. Job Summary: The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from initiation to completion. This position will have 1-2 Project Managers or Assistant Project Managers working with them on this job, and they all play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. The Senior Project Manager must possess a strong knowledge of project management principles, construction processes, and adhere to AIS Infrastructure's safety standards and protocols.Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.Coordinate and supervise all project activities, including subcontractors and suppliers.Ensure project compliance with applicable regulations, codes, and standards.Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion.Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and deliverables.Manage project resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.Conduct regular project meetings and communicate project status to stakeholders.Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.Ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.Prepare and present project reports to management.Technical writing and ability to bid work and have it reviewed.Requirements and Education:Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Project Manager for complex heavy civil construction projects is generally required to be successful in this role.Experience with large government projects involving site development, infrastructure, mass excavation, grading, trenching, underground utilities, heavy concrete, etc. is required.OSHA 30-hour construction outreach training.In-depth knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.Familiarity with construction management software and tools.Strong knowledge of construction project management principles.Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Procore, Bluebeam, HCSS HeavyBid/HeavyJob, CMiC, Sage/Timberline, Trimble Viewpoint/Vista, Microsoft Project, etc.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate project documentation.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Customer service and client management skillsPreferred Requirements and Education:Experience with dam and/or reservoir projects is highly preferred.Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance to access secured facilities, including military bases.Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred.Benefits:We are dedicated to our employees' well-being and believe that every one of our employees has the right to work in an environment that is safe, welcoming, and inclusive.
