Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This unique contract role offers an in-person caseload, supporting children with mild to moderate disabilities and making a meaningful impact in a tight-knit school community. The position runs from August 1, 2025, through May 22, 2026, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license is required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP)
• Experience in pediatric and school-based SLP settings strongly preferred
• Ability to adapt therapeutic practices for a variety of speech and language needs
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
• Comfortable working with mild to moderate disabilities across elementary and middle school students

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver in-person speech therapy services to students in a small district environment
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary school teams
• Document all services and student progress according to school and state guidelines
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Provide consultation and guidance to staff and parents regarding speech and language development
• Stay current with best practices in school-based speech therapy
