Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

$2399.04/week - Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, evidence-based care to mothers and newborns throughout the maternity process, ensuring safety and comfort. Responsibilities: Assess and monitor maternal and fetal health during labor and delivery. Administer medications and interventions as prescribed in accordance with facility protocols. Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and neonatal teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and families on labor progression, postpartum recovery, and newborn care. Document all clinical assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately. Respond promptly to emergencies, including fetal distress and postpartum complications. Qualifications: Valid state RN license required. Minimum of 2 years of Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery experience, with Level 1 expertise essential. Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN. Ability to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations and team members. Demonstrated proficiency in obstetric clinical skills and emergency response protocols.
