Employment Type Full time Shift Day Shift Role Summary MercyOne Genesis Hospice Care exists to provide support and comfort to patients and their families when a cure is no longer possible. Compassionate, high quality care is offered so that your loved one can remain as independent and comfortable as possible. MercyOne Genesis Hospice provides medical care in addition to emotional and spiritual support. MercyOne Genesis Hospice is looking to hire a Hospice Supervisor. As a Hospice Supervisor at MercyOne, you will provide overall supervision of personnel and service operations for the Hospice House and Community Based Hospice program across 24 hours. You will ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures, prepare for regulatory compliance, identify program development needs, and assist in implementation. You will actively participate in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities and manage productivity, new staff orientation, and staff compliance with identified clinical skills. Schedule Full time 40 hours a week Monday – Friday On Call responsibilities General Requirements Supervisory Responsibility: Direct supervision of more than 12 employees across multiple shifts, including hiring, training, assigning, monitoring, assessing work, and ensuring HR decisions align with organizational policies. Materials Responsibility: Moderate responsibility for material resources such as operating budgets, specialized equipment, and financial assets. Key Relationships: Co‑workers and Health System Employees, outside agencies/hospitals, the general public, physicians and medical office staff, patients and families, payors, auditors, students, and interns.
