Multiskill - MongoDB, CosmosDB Administration
DB Mgmt - Configure Azure CosmosDB/MongoDB for NoSQL database and containers. Move data into and out of Azure CosmosDB/MongoDB Database Management and maintenance activities - access, space, patching, deployment etc. Perform cross-document transactional operations and Process bulk data in CosmosDB. Define and Customize indexing for CosmosDB/MongoDB Data Modeling and Partitioning for CosmosDB/MongoDB Integrate Azure Services like Azure Functions/Event/Congnitive Search, SDKs etc.
Monitor, tune and manage scheduled tasks, alerts and database storage needs.
Experience with Upgrade/Migration of database platforms of On-Prem to cloud solutions a plus.
Create SQL queries for the Azure Cosmos DB for NoSQL using the Data Explorer and the .NET SDK The ability to understand what others have developed.
Experienced with documenting, testing and performing DB Migrations, Upgrades and Security Patching
DB Security - Understanding of integrated DB security & security hardening, Cloud DB Security.
DB Troubleshooting - Ability to investigate, troubleshoot complex issues related to capacity & performance of DB & Apps etc.
Reports - Ability to generate capacity utilization, DB performance related reports, identify needs proactively Measure indexing performance, implementing cache integration and other performance strategies.
Backups, DR & Recovery - Configure & Manage Replication, Failover, DR Recovery procedures and solutions. Ability to perform quick recovery. Usage of consistency models, multi region writes etc.
Monitor, tune and manage backup jobs, recover processes, alerts.
