Employment Type: Locum/temporary

License/Certs: Active TX Medical License, BLS, and preferred ACLS/ATLS

Experience: Prior OB hospitalist experience preferred but not required

Pay Rate: $195.00 per hour

What You'll Do

• Provide OB hospitalist coverage in a busy facility with 17 ORs, Cypress NICU, and additional procedural areas
• Manage labor and delivery patients, including emergent situations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
• Document patient encounters using EPIC EMR system
• Cover a variety of obstetric cases, excluding complex surgeries like transplant or regional blocks
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and protocols

Required:

• Medical license valid in Texas
• Certification from the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology or equivalent (if applicable)
• BLS certification
• Prior experience in OB hospitalist or inpatient OB setting preferred

Preferred:

• ACLS/ATLS certifications
• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• Ability to work both 8-hour and 10-hour shifts as needed
