Picture this: you arrive at a high-profile job site in New Castle County, review the day’s drawings with the foreman, and map out your conduit runs. By mid-morning, you’re threading and bending pipe to spec, pulling conductors, and landing terminations on a new piece of production equipment. After lunch, you’re calibrating a motor control circuit, checking a relay sequence, and verifying a thermostat setpoint. Before you wrap, you document materials and hours so the team can stay on schedule and on budget. That’s a typical day for our client’s Journeyman Wiremen—steady work, professional standards, and meaningful commercial and industrial installations.

About the Role

Our client has four (4) full-time, project-based openings for Delaware-licensed Journeyman Electricians supporting significant commercial and industrial projects across New Castle County. You’ll be counted on for quality craftsmanship, on-time delivery, and strict adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC).

What You’ll Do

• Install, repair, and troubleshoot wiring, electrical fixtures, power equipment, and machinery components in accordance with the NEC.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to complete tasks accurately.
• Install and connect power supply wiring, cables, conduit, and electrical apparatus for machines and equipment in new builds and retrofits.
• Install, repair, and calibrate control and distribution equipment, including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, and circuit-breaker panels.
• Test circuits and systems for continuity, compatibility, and safety using appropriate meters and test equipment.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install conduit using rulers, measuring devices, hand tools, pipe threaders, and conduit benders.
• Maintain safe working conditions and ensure safe operation of all electrical work on site.
• Keep precise daily records of materials used and labor hours.

Who You Are

• Hold a valid State of Delaware Journeyman Electrician License (required).
• Bring proven commercial or industrial installation, repair, and maintenance experience.
• Are proficient reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the NEC and jobsite safety standards.
• Comfortably use standard hand tools, power tools, and electrical test instruments.
• Reliable and punctual; able to work the project’s specified shift hours for the full duration.
• Known for strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Location & Schedule

Work sites are in and around New Castle County, Delaware. These are full-time, project-based positions with steady hours and consistent fieldwork on notable commercial and industrial installations.
