As an advanced data scientist and researcher on our national security team, you'll evaluate AI methodologies to make a real-world impact on AI usage in strategic intelligence. You'll grow your skills in continuous auditing, testing, evaluation, verification, and validation (TEVV), and AI risk mitigation to shape the future of analytics through a variety of means. Whether you're using AI to improve government efficiency or developing new TEVV procedures, you'll guide a team that serves critical missions from end to end. You Have 8+ years of experience correlating complex technical findings into graphical, written, visual, and verbal narrative products 5+ years of experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) and functional programming to build modular and scalable testing libraries Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including AI/ML validation Experience with building automated data input modules, synthetic data generation for testing, and managing high-integrity "Gold Standard" datasets for testing and evaluation Experience working on classified networks in support of DoD or IC clients Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction Ability to visualize complex data and concepts for non-technical leadership, highlighting system risks and "go or no-go" criteria clearly Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience with scientific techniques, or 12+ years of experience in lieu of a degree Nice If You Have Experience reviewing and evaluating technical documentation for compliance with applicable standards Experience developing and executing TEVV procedures Experience evaluating AI system performance, robustness, and fairness TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Compensation Salary: $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD) based on location, experience, skills, and organizational requirements.
