Location: Canada/Remote
Duration: Fulltime
Job Description:
- Client is looking for a talented Java API Senior Developer with on experience in Core Java, Spring boot, Mongo, Elastic, GIT, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes
- 7+ years of IT experience with experience on Java, Spring boot 2.0 backend API development
- Experience of API and service-based architectures using SOAP, REST APIs, micro-services and utilizing JSON
- Experience on API testing, Postman collections.
- Strong architecture and design mindset
- Implementing SAML SSO Technologies
- Implementing OAuth2.0 / Open ID Connect
- Web Security (keys, certificates, trusts, etc.)
- CI/CD tools - Confluence, Jira, GIT, GitHub, SonarQube, checkmarks
- PaaS/IaaS - Open Shift, AWS, Kafka
- Experience with DevOps processes
- Agile methodologies - SAFe, Kanban
- Providing operational support / troubleshooting for the existing applications
- Software Development Tools and Programming Languages
- Software development principles, practices and concepts
- Object Oriented (OO) concepts and how they apply to design, architecture and application development
- Understanding of relational database concepts
- Awareness of cross-browser/device responsive development
- Knowledge of implementation considerations for UI technologies including jQuery, WebSphere, React
- Exposure to Containers (Dockers / Kubernetes) would be a plus.
- API Lifecycle Management & Lifecycle Automation
- Excellent verbal and written communication, coordination and interpersonal skills
- Flexible to support customer needs as required.
