Job Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including thorough physical examinations and in-depth medical history reviews
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Engage closely with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide vital intraoperative support, ensuring optimal operating room prep, careful patient positioning, and efficient handling of surgical instruments
• Furnish excellent pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound assessment, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations focusing on surgery is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills

• Deep knowledge of surgical principles and aseptic technique
