About the Role:

The Pool Construction & Renovations Outside Sales Representative plays a critical role in driving business growth by identifying and securing new clients interested in pool construction and renovation services across the United States. This position requires building strong relationships with homeowners, contractors, and property managers to understand their needs and present tailored solutions that align with their vision and budget. The representative will manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and consultation to proposal development and closing deals, ensuring a seamless customer experience. Success in this role directly impacts the company’s revenue and market presence by expanding its client base and fostering long-term partnerships. We need you! Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in construction, home improvement, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of pool construction and renovation processes, materials, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel within assigned sales territories.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite for managing sales activities and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience specifically in pool sales or the swimming pool industry.
• Familiarity with design software or tools used in pool planning and visualization.
• Background in construction management or technical knowledge of pool installation and renovation.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
• Certification or training in sales techniques, negotiation, or customer relationship management.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and engage potential clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, and community events to generate new business opportunities.
• Conduct on-site consultations to assess client needs, provide expert advice on pool design and renovation options, and develop customized proposals.
• Prepare and present detailed sales presentations and estimates that clearly communicate the value and benefits of the company’s services.
• Negotiate contract terms and close sales while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams including design, construction, and project management to ensure smooth project execution and client communication throughout the process.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies to effectively position the company’s services in the market.

The required and preferred skills are essential for effectively engaging with clients and managing the sales process from start to finish. Strong communication skills enable the representative to clearly explain complex pool construction options and address client questions or concerns. Sales and negotiation skills are used daily to close deals and secure contracts that benefit both the client and the company. Additionally, proficiency with CRM and design tools supports efficient tracking of leads, proposals, and project details, ensuring organized and professional client interactions.
