Job TitleJob Overview:Pay Range: $18.28hr - $20.59hrRequirement/Must Have:Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.Keyboard/data entry experience a must.Responsibilities:Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.Maintain a safe and professional environment.Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.Maintain required records and documentation.Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.Explain procedures to patients and draw blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and sensitivity to confidentiality.Nice to Have:Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.Phlebotomy certification preferred.Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.Skills:Phlebotomy.Specimen Collection.Specimen Processing.Pediatric Phlebotomy.Geriatric Phlebotomy.Data Entry.Qualification And Education:High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.Minimum of 6 months experience REQUIRED.
