You will be part of a dynamic team of orthodontic professionals who are passionate about providing excellent care. You will be responsible for providing support to our Orthodontist and assisting in the chair-side procedures. Your duties will include preparing patients for their treatment, sterilizing instruments, taking digital radiographs, and assisting with laboratory procedures.Duties include, but are not limited to:Prepare patients for orthodontic treatments, such as cleaning teeth, taking X-Rays, and making impressions.Examine patient's mouths and take notes of irregularities.Assist the orthodontist during procedures, such as adjusting braces and placing orthodontic appliances.Manage patient records and update charts.Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic care.Sterilize instruments before and after use.Follow safety and infection control protocols.Complete Aligner procedures: attachments and adjustments, and scansComplete Full Arch Bonding top and bottom, as well as bonding fixed retainersDebondingRebonding BracketsUsing various digital scannersMaking clear retainersDelivering expanders, space maintainers and forsus.In the event you are traveling to another clinic, you are required to perform all duties and responsibilities of your role including administrative tasks.Participate in Marketing eventsOther tasks as assigned.Requirements:Orthodontic assisting (1 year required)Availability on SaturdaysHigh School Diploma or GEDCertificate of completion for Orthodontic Assistant Courses (preferred)Ability to learn quickly and efficientlyCan multitaskBe professional, organized, and have strong attention to detailHave excellent communication skills.Working Hours/Location/Pay:Monday – Wednesday 8:45am – 5:00pmThursday - Friday 6:45am – 3:00pm2 Saturdays per monthTwo 9:45am- 6:00pm Shifts per month4240 Dempster St, Skokie, IL 60076Travel to Harwood Heights, Avondale, Bucktown, Old Town, LakeviewPay range - $20 - $24Benefits (for our full-time employees):Paid TrainingTravel Pay (when traveling to sister clinics farther than 15 miles away from base clinic)Clinical BonusesPaid Time OffHoliday PayMedical, Dental, Vision, and Life InsuranceAccident InsuranceShort-Term DisabilityLong-Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance ProgramHealth Savings AccountDependent Care Account401(k) and matchingPet InsuranceTuition Assistance ProgramIdentity Theft ProtectionMetLife MetLaw Legal InsuranceTransit Reimbursement - Commuter AccountFree and discounted Orthodontic Treatments
