Overview UnityPoint Health – Des Moines is offering a $20,000 sign‑on bonus for full‑time eligible RNs (including residents) hired or offered into acute inpatient roles between April 1 and July 31, 2026. The bonus is paid in milestone‑based installments. Up to $10,000 relocation assistance may be provided for full‑time offers relocating more than 50 miles. Shift Full Time Days – 7 am to 7:30 pm (weekend and holiday rotation) Full Time Nights – 7 pm to 7:30 am (weekend and holiday rotation) Part Time Nights – 7 pm to 7:30 am (weekend and holiday rotation) Responsibilities Provides and coordinates nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process. Completes documentation to assure an accurate record of patient care. Utilizes critical thinking in making independent judgments, and maintains responsibility for knowledge of conditions of assigned patients. Collaborates with physicians and other professionals in planning and implementing care within hospital policy and legal limitations. Assesses needs of patients and families, provides appropriate teaching to facilitate discharge planning, and makes necessary referrals to community agencies to provide continuity of care. Utilizes a holistic approach considering physical, psych/social, spiritual, educational, safety, and related criteria appropriate to the age of the patients served. Demonstrates initiative to improve quality of care, patient and employee safety, and customer service. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or Iowa Board of Nursing approved nursing program. Current licensure in good standing as a Registered Nurse in Iowa. Minimum of 12 months acute RN experience. Newly licensed RNs or RNs with less than 12 months of acute experience are required to participate in the RN Residency program. Level 3 medium work: may require exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, or up to 20 pounds frequently, or up to 10 pounds constantly. #J-18808-Ljbffr
