The Opportunity:
\nYou will join a premier commercial solar contractor with over 900 MW installed since 2005. This role offers direct employment from day one with year-round, stable project work across the region. You will have access to a structured, paid training program designed to advance your career from installer to foreman.
\n \nHow You Will Make an Impact:
\n- \n
- Install, terminate, and test electrical systems for commercial solar PV projects. \n
- Perform high-quality AC and DC wiring across combiners, inverters, disconnects, and service equipment. \n
- Construct and secure conduit and cable tray systems including EMT, rigid, PVC, and ladder trays. \n
- Bend and install conduit, run cable tray systems, and support underground conduit installation. \n
- Assist with equipment pad layout, equipment placement, and field measurements tied to service equipment and underground utilities. \n
- Interpret electrical single-line diagrams, structural drawings, and project plans to complete accurate field installations. \n
- Identify field conflicts when site conditions do not match drawings and communicate issues clearly to supervision. \n
- Follow strict jobsite safety standards, including lock-out/tag-out and arc-flash protocols. \n
- Coordinate with construction managers, site leadership, and project teams to keep work on schedule. \n
- For lead and foreman-level candidates: lead daily field workflow, sequence work, mentor junior electricians/installers, and support quality control. \n

\nPfister Energy is hiring multiple levels of commercial electrical talent for commercial and utility-scale solar projects. Candidates will be evaluated based on commercial electrical experience, ability to read drawings, leadership level, safety mindset, travel readiness, and ability to contribute on active jobsites.
\n \nSolar Electrician / Journeyman-Level Electrician

- Required Experience: \n
- 2+ years of hands-on commercial electrical experience. \n
- Experience with conduit bending, cable tray, and commercial wiring. \n
- Ability to read electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and construction plans. \n
- Comfortable working outdoors, on active construction sites, and around solar project environments. \n
- Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and willingness to travel regionally across PA, MD, DE, and NJ. \n
- Strong commitment to safety, attendance, quality work, and communication. \n
- Residential-only electrical experience is not a fit unless paired with relevant commercial experience. \n
- Preferred Experience: \n
- Solar PV or AC/DC solar electrical experience. \n
- Underground conduit or equipment pad layout experience. \n
- Journeyman Electrician license preferred, but not required. \n
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. \n
- Prevailing wage or public works project experience. \n
Lead Electrician
\n- \n
- Required Experience: \n
- 5+ years of commercial electrical experience. \n
- Experience as a lead electrician, working foreman, or senior field electrician. \n
- Ability to direct other electricians, manage daily scope, and support field workflow. \n
- Strong ability to read drawings independently and sequence electrical work on active jobsites. \n
- Strong conduit, cable tray, wiring, and commercial electrical installation experience. \n
- Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and willingness to travel regionally. \n
- Preferred Experience: \n
- Solar PV experience preferred, but not required. \n
- Experience leading commercial solar, commercial building, light industrial, or infrastructure-related electrical work. \n
- Experience with AC/DC systems, underground conduit, service equipment, or equipment pad layout. \n
- OSHA 30 certification. \n
- Journeyman Electrician license preferred, but not required. \n
- Experience mentoring junior electricians or installers. \n
Electrical Foreman
\n- \n
- Required Experience: \n
- Proven experience as a commercial electrical foreman or field leader. \n
- Experience running crews on commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or commercial solar projects. \n
- Ability to own safety, production, quality, inspections, materials, and daily field execution. \n
- Ability to communicate directly with project management, construction managers, and site leadership. \n
- Strong ability to plan work, sequence crews, manage field conflicts, and keep projects moving. \n
- Ability to read drawings, identify issues, and make field decisions without day-to-day training. \n
- Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and willingness to travel regionally. \n
- Preferred Experience: \n
- Commercial or utility-scale solar project experience. \n
- Experience managing crews on prevailing wage or public works projects. \n
- Experience with inspections, material coordination, underground conduit, equipment pad layout, AC/DC systems, and service equipment. \n
- OSHA 30 certification. \n
- Journeyman Electrician license preferred, but not required. \n
- Strong track record of stepping onto active projects and contributing from day one. \n
