Surgical Technician

Role Overview The Surgical Technologist functions as a \"scrub technologist\" in the surgical suite and clinical areas, responsible for preparing sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment, passing instruments during surgery, maintaining sterile technique, and caring for instruments post-procedure. They may also assist with case carts, turnover tasks, and support the surgical team under RN supervision. The role involves ensuring efficient patient flow through the OR and supporting patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Set up and maintain sterile surgical environments Pass instruments and supplies during procedures Assist with case carts, turnovers, and other team tasks Support circulating duties as assigned Ensure sterile technique and instrument care Qualifications & Skills Graduate of a surgical technology program Washington Surgical Technologist Registration on hire Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association Experience as a registered Surgical Technologist; recent program completion may suffice Preferred Qualifications At least 2 years of OR experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
